Chromecast: Audio and video clues do not start automatically

Updated over 3 months ago

Following recent changes to Google Chrome, it may happen that videos do not launch (or no longer launch) automatically.

Google's goal is to prevent video ads from automatically launching when you browse a website. Except that in the case of clues... it quickly becomes problematic!

To disable this safety feature, simply go to the following address with Google Chrome: chrome:///flags/#autoplay-policy All you have to do is choose "No user gesture is required."

Be careful, this modification applies to all "Chrome" users of the current session (Windows, Mac, Linux). We therefore recommend that you have a computer (or nanocomputer) specific to the cast of your clues.
